RBA Teams with Ad Agency, Bringing More Benefits to Members

Rockland Business Association members who join the online directory BusinessCardContacts.com will now receive a discounted rate. The price reduction comes as a result of the newly formed affinity relationship between the RBA and site owners BB&GG Advertising of Middletown, NY. The site, which calls itself “The Hudson Valley’s Net Neighborhood,” serves as an online marketing tool where members can set up a page for their business and post product information and pictures. “If a company can’t afford a website they can have what’s like a website within the community,” said June Bisel, a partner at BB&GG. “With a minimum investment your company is now on the same playing field.” RBA members who sign up will receive $50 off basic membership and $120 off Premium or Enhanced membership. “We are happy to offer this program to RBA members and especially to our small businesses who can best take advantage of it,” said Al Samuels, RBA President/CEO. The site, which launched in Spring 2007 now serves close to 900 members and receives more than 100 hits daily. Site members can customize their pages as frequently as they desire, adjusting text, uploading photos, word documents, pdfs, as well as mp3 audio files. “The site is user friendly and it’s easy to change information,” Bisel said. “It can be a link on your website or in place of a website.” BB&GG promotes the site through an aggressive public relations campaign with print advertising and an online marketing campaign that includes blogging.
